Can we save you money on your Park Tickets or Car Hire ?

If you are planning a trip to Florida two of the most expensive items you need to consider, apart from air-fares - ( discussed on our  F.A.Q. page ), will probably be the price of car hire and theme park tickets.
Although you can buy both whilst in Florida, you will almost certainly pay more than if you buy before your holiday - paying to hire a car at the  arrival airport is the most expensive option by far !
We recommend these links: CAR HIRE  and THEME PARK TICKETS as being very reputable and reliable vendors at reasonable cost.... We don't get commission from any of these, but do gain "villa points" which puts our villa nearer the top of the "OrlandoVillas" website...
Please hunt around for better deals, but we would appreciate it if you could come back and buy through our links !!

This new (2010) link has videos of all the different hire-car types and should give you a pretty good idea of what's available....CAR TYPES.

New bit: Normally, car hire is limited to over 25's unless a very expensive premium is paid. Our car supplier has a new contract with Alamo which allows one under-25 driver for 25 per week...

Some points worthy of note:-
Be very aware that if you decide to upgrade your hire car at the airport, you will be charged a LOT extra...( and we do mean A LOT... +100% is not unusual ! ) - That friendly clerk pressuring you to buy all those unnecessary "upgrades" is on commission !!.
Car hire sold as part of a flydrive package will quite often NOT include insurances - which are actually the biggest expense of car rental - please check and compare prices !!
Although there are many ticket booths in Florida which sell cheap park tickets, they are normally tied to very hard-sell condominium visits (used to be time-share)...
(Yes, first visit to Florida, we got 'caught' & were bored out of our brains for 4 hours....)
All the park websites sell their own tickets which you can print out before you go, some will even post them to the UK ( at extra charge !! ) & sometimes have worthwhile "special offers"......
